Practical information
Clothing
For the RIB tour, we recommend comfortable clothing and shoes that allow you to move easily, such as sneakers or trainers. Stiletto heels and other shoes with hard or sharp soles are not permitted, as they can damage the boat. Special or sturdy shoes are not necessary; comfortable is sufficient.
On the water, it can feel cooler than on land, even on sunny days. We therefore advise bringing an extra layer of clothing or a windproof jacket. Sunscreen is recommended in good weather.
Participants generally stay dry during the trip. However, depending on weather conditions and speed, spray may come over the boat. Please consider this when choosing your clothing.
Before departure
Prior to the tour, all participants will receive a short safety briefing and a life jacket. Wearing this life jacket is mandatory before boarding. Signing a liability waiver is also mandatory for participation. Before departure, there will be an opportunity to use the restroom.
Safety on board
During the trip, it is important to always follow the skipper's instructions. Hold on tight and stand with slightly bent knees so that you can absorb any movements of the boat. If you want the trip to stop, you can clearly indicate this by raising your arm with a clenched fist and shouting "stop".
Participants must be in good health and not pregnant. Persons with back, knee, heart or other medical conditions, or those taking medication that affects reaction time, cannot participate. Participation under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not permitted. Participants under 16 years of age may only participate if accompanied by an adult.
It is better to leave valuable items such as phones, cameras, and other personal belongings ashore. If you do bring them on board, this is entirely at your own risk.
